The
book illustrating began with a request from Margaret Flaws to illustrate
her collection of Orkney rhymes, which culminated in 'Kitty Berdo's Book
of Orkney Nursery Rhymes'. The latest work is illustrating a range of
folk tales for Orkney Heritage, told by Tom Muir. Two further books in
the pipeline are children's stories relating to Corrigal farm in the Victorian
period and Kirbuster during the 1550's.
